Cold Sore Prevention

• During an Outbreak
  • Change your toothbrush as soon as an outbreak occurs as well as once the sore has healed
  • Shave with a disposable razor or change the blades during and after an outbreak has healed
  • Wash you hands regularly with a disinfected hand wash to prevent spreading

• Before Outbreaks
  • Apply sun screen/lotion of SPF 15 or higher, before exposure to sunlight
